The Boy Scouts of America Scott Visitor Center in Bluefield, WV, was constructed with architectural southern yellow pine glulams that were Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certified. Galyon Timber & Glulam, Inc. supplied the southern yellow pine solid timbers and white oak poles. To preserve and protect them, Galyon debarked, fabricated and oiled the white oak poles.
